These kids. We are in a tough, rough season but there are so many incredibly beautiful moments that actually melt my heart and I question everything. Kids are inherently pure and joyous and real.
Parker: Legit ate 3 scrambled eggs, 3 adult sized, big as his head hash browns, 2 cups of milk, 1 glass of water this morning for breakfast... and was so polite throughout his feast of over an hour. And yes, he ate a full lunch an hour later 🤪 He.Is.5
Fletcher: he wanted to hide from his siblings this morning and we found the perfect hiding spot in bed, for real about an hour long of keeping his Schtick up. I have lots of videos of him grinning from ear to ear, quietly giggling, pulling the covers over his head. I also have videos of his siblings telling me what they won’t miss about him while he’s missing 😳😳😳🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
Riley: yesterday in the car on the way to cheerleading practice she randomly said the following: “so God made boys out of ashes and dirt. He made girls out of ribbons. That’s why boys are so dirty and girls are pretty. God made me out of ribbons and clay. I’m a warrior. I don’t know what that means, but it’s true.” 🥰🥰🥰 Couldn’t be more proud of my warrior: fiercely strong, independent, and full of personality (just like her Mom 😉😉)
