🐶 It’s always such a privilege and I’m so humbled to be asked to be the special guest reader for various schools around our area!

These kids. We are in a tough, rough season but there are so many incredibly beautiful moments that actually melt my heart and I question everything. Kids are inherently pure and joyous and real.
Parker: Legit ate 3 scrambled eggs, 3 adult sized, big as his head hash browns, 2 cups of milk, 1 glass of water this morning for breakfast... and was so polite throughout his feast of over an hour. And yes, he ate a full lunch an hour later 🤪 He.Is.5
Fletcher: he wanted to hide from his siblings this morning and we found the perfect hiding spot in bed, for real about an hour long of keeping his Schtick up. I have lots of videos of him grinning from ear to ear, quietly giggling, pulling the covers over his head. I also have videos of his siblings telling me what they won’t miss about him while he’s missing 😳😳😳🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
Riley: yesterday in the car on the way to cheerleading practice she randomly said the following: “so God made boys out of ashes and dirt. He made girls out of ribbons. That’s why boys are so dirty and girls are pretty. God made me out of ribbons and clay. I’m a warrior. I don’t know what that means, but it’s true.” 🥰🥰🥰 Couldn’t be more proud of my warrior: fiercely strong, independent, and full of personality (just like her Mom 😉😉)
“In those moments when we give ourselves the grace to let everything else fall away, we find our most sincere happiness.” Emily Ley, Simplified® Sisterhood @ Knoxville, Tennessee

These two... the bond between them is indescribable. As their mother, I can appreciate just a small minutiae of their uniqueness. I was able to feel two bodies’ movement at once in my belly, birthed two bodies within the same minute (09:56 am). We are in a special club and it is absolutely breathtaking when I sit and think about the miracle that they encompass. I am blessed. As they begin this journey that is kindergarten, I am humbled and oh so grateful. This is where the adventure begins... buckle up.

This dude... Happy would-be 15th Birthday to my forever pup! Hopkins, you were truly one of a kind and your sweet soul continues to touch the hearts of many. I JUST had a family approach me at the soccer field this week asking if I was the author of their son’s favorite book?! I am humbled and oh so honored.

In Hopkins’ memory, I’m offering 20% off of the purchase of his book, autographed by yours truly... free shipping.

Seriously, what can we say to the ones that made us parents for the first time? Congratulations Tennessee Reproductive Medicine on 10 incredible years of practice.
Dr. Rink Murray was our ray of light during such a dark road. I’ll never forget that morning of our embryo transfer and Mark and I were still unsure of putting one or two in... and we thought we had ruined it all because we both wore cologne and perfume (an apparent big no-no on transfer day). We were nauseous the entire quiet ride back to Knoxville out of fear.
Dr. Shan Wilkinson was the woman who tended to my two miracles, Parker and Riley, before they were transferred over to my care. For 5 whole days post fertilization, she watched over these babies in the “lab,” tended to them and updated me on how they were doing. We are so blessed to have a picture of them, prior to transfer 5 days later, as embryos.
Linda Parker Miller was my grounding force through the incredible stressful days leading up to our IVF cycle and then continued responding to my ridiculous texts at all hours, reassuring me that everything was going to work out the way God intended and I was doing everything I could within my control.
Such beautiful souls doing absolutely amazing work.
You gave us our family.
We love you from the bottom of our hearts and to the moon and back.

What a blessed morning and way to start the First Day of Summer at Wallace Preschool! All of the classes I read to were so well behaved and appreciative. I always get choked up reading about my boy and the secret stories I have within the story, that remind my heart of sweet Hopkins and my children. The best end was one little boy who came up to me and said, “Miss Jenn? I love you TTTHHHIIIISSSS much! (With his arms completely outstretched)” All 60+ hugs from little ones weren’t too bad either 😍😍😍
