A few new flags, and a few I haven't advertised yet! Flags are a great gift for dads... and THIS Sunday is Father's Day!

Wouldn't it be cool if EVERY house would fly a flag again? Especially this summer! Here are a few more options, but don't forget about our smaller garden flags as well, we still have a GREAT selection of those, as well as the stands for them.

I'm getting another t-shirt delivery tomorrow, and there will be a few of these fun tees in it. What a perfect tee for anyone retiring in 2026. I have 2 each of Med, Large, XL, and 2XL.

This Saturday is the Howard Co. Master Gardeners 25th Anniversary of strolling through beautiful gardens in Kokomo! Are you going? If you never have, you should. Grab a friend (or your dad...you'll see me with mine!) and start strolling for great ideas for your own gardens! My garden was in the Stroll back in 2002, and my parents garden was in 2005!

And yes... we have tickets. Stop in today or Friday to get yours. $10

For the last few weeks, and possibly even past the 4th, when you walk into our shop you will hear old and new Patriotic music (unless Alexa gets mixed up some more).

If you are in shopping, feel free to ask Alexa for your favorite! It's been nice to see people singing or humming along. After watching "The Shores of Tripoli" last night, you may hear the Marines song played several times today! 😊

If you have an Alexa, you might enjoy asking for some played at your house as well... unfortunately she doesn't always get it right. One day last week we had the most amazing songs and I was asking her to remember them all, the next day, I was raising my voice at her that that song isn't patriotic, let's try to do better. 😂

In the comments, leave me your FAVORITE Patriotic song so I can find some that maybe I don't know about! Don't forget to stop in for all of our Semiquincentennial gifts, for giving and for keeping! Mugs, Tshirts (more coming in tomorrow), beautiful glass sun catchers, decorative items, the cutest earrings, and oh...the garden flags! One customer walked in last week and exclaimed, "you weren't wrong about being the local Semiquincentennial shop"! I LOVED that!

Two new styles of our souvenir mugs are ready for coffee! Our first round was a hit, so I ordered a few more designs.

A box of new mugs came in Friday, and another one getting unpacked today! We brought in 2 new styles for the big celebration! I'll post more later, but a nice, new mug is always a gift that will get used, why not give one that's perfect for this Semiquincentennial year!

I'm open today, but will be watching the weather closely and may close a bit earlier if bad is heading our way!

Need a unique gift for dad? Yesterday I pulled out the rest of our hand cut and painted Eagle and driftwood bells to add to our 250th Celebration of gifts! I love the Eagles, but we also have a few of our other birds as well for any of the birding dads out there! Bluejays, Cardinals, Sparrows, and one each of the owls and flamingo! These were one of 2026's Fair Trade items and customers have loved them!

Another delivery of our Semiquincentennial garden flags came in today, which we desperately needed! Our customers are loving these, so get in and pick out the ones you want asap. (I'm not sure how many times I can push my luck at getting them in this fast.) These flags are all printed for us as we order and they were awesome to rush these to us! $24.
These make great gifts, especially the Semiquincentennial styles, and we do have the flag stands as well if needed!

Can I get some BOOMS for our new bags that came in yesterday! 🧨🧨✨!!!!

Did I have to spend more money on these awesome gift bags? No... but that's part of our charm, and another reason why our customers love our little shop...we do it for you, so you don't need to buy a bag! (Plus... I'm still so thankful how you all gave so much food at Christmas for Kokomo Urban Outreach in appreciation for our gift bags!)

I was bagging up a customers gifts yesterday and just about to tell her about the beautiful bags I had coming in, when Chris, my FedEx guy opens the door and brings in my boxes! What did we do? We opened those babies up and redid her gift...why? Because a special 90 year old will be the recipient and the gift was one of our "Semiquincentennial" glass sun catchers and a garden flag! Absolutely perfect! That 90 year has seen America change, these gifts will be sweet souvenirs from this milestone birthday!

I also got in the rest of our glass suncatchers, they are beautiful! Last night I put a small light behind this one and just sat it on an easel. What a standout these would be among your glass collection as a focal point! Stop in to see ALL of our beautiful designs!

A few odds and ends as well, love this little wooden Uncle Sam cutout and these heavy duty cardboard stacking advertising boxes, cute in your primitive display!

If you need a gift for a June birthday, one of our Pearl Blessing Bracelets is a beautiful suggestion! Pearl is June's birthstone and they look great on every skintone. Last week we got in a new style of peals, one with a sterling Angel Wing dangle! We also got in more of the Dove Pearl, and this time we got them in gold filled as well! An alternate birthstone for June is Moonstone, so I brought in a few of those as well, and they have a sterling moon charm.
