So if you know my way of doing Christmas at Eden's Way, you know that we don't put stuff out until right before Thanksgiving, so that our kickoff is Small Business Saturday (2 days after Thanksgiving) But.....

Do you all remember seeing this guy sitting high atop a display last Christmas? EVERYONE wanted him, and I had just bought ONE for myself! I did end up ordering a few on my last order, but only a few.

Everyone has been telling me they are so excited for the Christmas and Winter gourds to get here, so I've decided to open up a box, and pull out 12 Eli Elfs for you to pick up RIGHT NOW, because in true Elf on the Shelf fashion, you would want to put him out on Thanksgiving night. By the way... did you know Eden's Way was the first shop in Kokomo to introduce Elf on the Shelf? We sold oodles of them back before they were everywhere and that was so much fun!

Eli is absolutely adorable, he comes with a tealight timer and can be moved all around the house if you'd like. As a matter of fact, when you walk in tomorrow to get yours, the 12 I have available are hiding all over the shop, you must find your own special elf! Please leave mine on the very high spot where he hung out all last Christmas... he will be observing my customers and reporting back to Santa...of course! $47

Lately I've been noticing about all thrift shops, antique shops have a section of used clothing in them. Well, I'm purging lots of stuff and decided to bring in a little selection of items to have a "tiny non-garage sale and see how it goes.

Everything has been washed (which is definitely not the case in most places) and you'll find prices are either lower or same as non name brands and worn out items found at places like Goodwill. I have some items with the tags still on them, and everything (with the exception of the Monarch (brand new) butterfly cowboy boots, is $5.00.

I'd appreciate correct change if you can bring $5's and $1's. Lots of Altered State and Pretty Angel. Sorry, no holds so just stop in this week if you like this type of shopping. Lots of medium sizes.

I have 2 of our fall gourd cutie lights left. They need a home, so sn**ch these up for gifts now. Were $38, now $24.

It's a good time to stop in, I'm putting stuff on clearance and soon I'll be moving certain items out to prepare for Christmas coming in.

When encouragement is needed, give it! It may not help with the obstacle at hand, but maybe it's just what is needed to keep going!

Little Zoom Zoom has been with me for close to 3 weeks. His wings and body were not born in the way that his flight to overwinter in Mexico was going to happen, so he "zoom zooms" daily around his tent, (typically after feeding on honey water) and I just encourage him to keep going!

Zoom Zoom is enjoying this beautiful sunshine outside today. If you are out and about and enjoying it too, stop in for a gift, some of our awesome new soup mixes, or just to say hi if I haven't seen you for awhile!

We are getting close to November and can you believe the flowers this year? If at all possible, hold off as long as you possibly can if you have bee and butterfly loving plants that they are still coming to. I'm working outside at the shop today and the bees are all over these little blue flowers in my Bee Wildflower garden that replanted itself from last year! They are enjoying the nice sunshine as much (and probably more so even) than I am!
