Suit return day hits a little different when the bride & groom walk through the door 🤍

Monday we had a whole wedding party’s worth of suits returned, but the best part? Getting to hear a few stories from the newlyweds about their day.

We love being there for the dress appointments and the suit fittings, but getting to see our couples after the “I do’s” might be one of our favorite parts.

And just a little reminder… Blye’s isn’t just for the bride.
We can get the groom + his whole crew suited up, fitted and ready for the big day, too!

The One Where Heather Ran the Shop Solo… 🤍

Yesterday was BUSY, the very best kind of busy!

From shoppers stopping in to some absolutely amazing bridal appointments, you all kept me moving all day long 🤍

Thank you to everyone who shopped with me, laughed with me, and showed a little extra patience when I was juggling a few things at once.

I ended the day happy, sore feet, and definitely counting my blessings. ✨

✨ Something new is happening at Blye’s! ✨

This year, we’re taking the Blye’s Beauties program one step further with the launch of our Blye’s Internship Program! 🎀

Meet the girls who are jumping in with us for our very first year!

Our interns will be getting hands-on experience in different areas of running a small business, from marketing and social media to merchandising, events, customer experience and more.

But our goal is bigger than giving them something to add to a résumé. We want them to try new things, take ownership of projects, build confidence and learn skills they can take with them long after their time at Blye’s.

And I’m pretty sure I’ll learn a thing or two from them along the way too.

We’re excited to have these girls behind the scenes at the Loft this year - learning, creating and bringing their own ideas to Blye’s.

✨ DID YOU KNOW? ✨

Blye’s has been part of Kokomo since 1948, but did you know the original Blye’s Bridal Shoppe was located just a block down the road in the building that is now home to Ann Slear Beard?

And recently, a little piece of that history made its way back to Blye’s!

Ann Marie gifted us this pedestal that was actually used in the original Blye’s, and of course, we knew it needed to have a place in the Loft.

Now we need YOUR help!

We’re trying to decide where it should live in the shop… and what deserves to be displayed on a piece with this much Blye’s history.
