The mission of the Women’s Clothes Closet is to provide gently used clothing to women, especially those who are entering or are in the workforce. Thank you.

The Women’s Clothes Closet is located in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Hours of Operation
Tuesday 1 pm to 5 pm
Saturday 9 am to 1 pm

The Women's Clothes Closet is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Our number one priority is the health and safety of our guests and staff, we will be following these guidelines:
We ask that guests not come if they or anyone in their household is ill. We look forward t

o continuing to serve women in the La Crosse area with grace and respect. New visitors to the WCC can choose three complete outfits. Returning visitors can select one outfit per visit, up to two times per month. No questions are asked about income or employment status. Would You Like to Donate? The Women’s Clothes Closet is usually in need of gently used in-season clothing that is fashionable, clean, and in good repair. Winter outerwear—coats & jackets (especially ski coats), snow boots, hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, etc. are especially in need at this time. Bras (new), shoes, boots, handbags, scarves, and jewelry are also very much appreciated. Donations can be made by appointment. Please call 608.784.5745 to schedule your donation appointment (please leave a message and someone will call you back to schedule). Thank you! Financial contributions help us pay the wages of our Clothes Closet Coordinator. Checks should be out to the Women’s Clothes Closet and sent to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, PO Box 97, La Crosse, WI 54602-0097. Questions? ✨ Women’s Clothes Closet Update ✨

The Women’s Clothes Closet will be closed today, Tuesday, December 30, and on Saturday, January 3, 2026.

We will reopen on Tuesday, January 6 at 1PM and look forward to welcoming you then!

As we wrap up this year, we want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! 🎉 May 2026 be filled with hope, joy, and fresh beginnings. Thank you for your continued support—we can’t wait to see you in the new year! 💕

We have a little rhyme to share:

Once upon a chilly day,
our Women’s Clothes Closet cried,
“Oh dear, oh my—
our mittens have gone bye-and-bye!”

We’ve searched high and low,
But alas, oh no—
There are no warm mittens for us!

The Women’s Clothes Closet is running very low on warm mittens (and gloves!), and we’d be so grateful for your help. New or gently used pairs are joyfully welcomed.

Cool weather is here, and we’re in need of winter coats and jackets (all sizes, especially plus sizes) to help our neighbors bundle up. Please call 608.784.5745 to arrange a drop-off. Your donations make a big difference in keeping our community warm and cared for this winter.
