Oh man life has been so crazy since I last caught up with you. I finished finals and then less than a week later got the flu. And it hit me hard. But even in that chaos I did a lot before and after so enjoy the little recap before we dive in the new year!
1.) I went to Salt Lake City with my sweet friends from church for and we went to the salt lakes! (Slightly underwhelming on a blustery day)
2.) Threw a bachelorette party for the most beautiful bride and one of my best friends. Showering her with love was probably a favorite of mine over the break!
3.) I sold bread. Sourdough bread to be exact but only on my healthy days. I loved getting to provide my home neighborhood with this small service
4 & 5.) While in SLC we went to this amazing little restaurant group that sold sourdough pizza. Also getting to see the Eucharist on display for the city was a favorite of mine.
6.) The most loving bride and groom glowed on their wedding day. I feel so eternally blessed to get to stand beside them! (Still slightly sick but no longer contagious. And the had the prettiest PNW honeymoon too)
7.) I made a ton of bread. Really. And I think I’m gonna do it on a smaller scale in La Grande.
8 - 10.) More seek pictures of course. We got to listen to the sing and he was amazing. We were stunned the entire time by the mountains in Utah. Like jaw dropping. And a high note was listening to and him inspiring our hearts in a new way. I seriously recommend listening to the talk on youtube.
This break was definitely humbling but so full of love, both giving it and receiving it and I wouldn’t have changed any of it. I got to see some family I hadn’t seen in years and there was so much joy in all getting to be together. It also gave me the perspective to hit the new year… at a slow pace. Life is in no rush and I will be in no rush with it.

Christmas table runners are OFFICIALLY posted on the site!! (We don’t talk about what a cold and finals can do to the business🫠) If you order one in the next few days, it can still get to you before Christmas!! Also willing to a drop off for all Portland people🎄

When a cold and finals week hit at the same time, most of my life gets put on the back burner. It felt so good today to just sit with my new calendar for the year and start planning out how exactly I want to organize my life - start setting all the goals and the systems to achieve them;), giving myself the time needed to have a bigger heart and pour out more love to people, and resting in all of it. It’s not too late nor too early to do this for you!! I encourage you to grab a journal and take some time for yourself in the next couple day🫶🏻

Finished a pair of earrings! I am loving the antique brass look paired with these conchos from an old saddle maker. How beautiful is it that our jewelry can tell a story too!! Posting these later today. I only have 5 made right now so place an order if you want one!

This is my first time working on making some earrings since moving and it felt so good to get back in a groove and get started. I still have some different areas to figure out (like the amount of noise🥴). BUT. Once I get some pictures, I will have some small conch earrings on my etsy site!
