Happy Sunday, friends! I am coming to you on a Sunday to announce that these vintage quilt jackets go on sale tomorrow morning at 9 AM CST through my Etsy page.

I am so thankful for Kristina with Ollie & Mags Handmade for bringing my curated vintage cutter quilts back to life in the form of jackets.

Quilts are very special to me. I come from a long line of quilters. As a child I even created a makeshift quilt stand out of a cardboard box so I could quilt alongside my mother and late grandmother.

Watching the time, laughter, love, sometimes teamwork, and hard work that went into making a quilt was a beautiful thing to witness as a child. So, when I go thrifting I always look for vintage quilts because I see the hard work and the story in every stitch, and I love that they are all 100% unique to the creator.

Along my thrifting adventures I noticed that a lot of these vintage quilts were in very bad shape because of wear and love over the years. About this same time I started to see vintage quilt jackets on Pinterest, and even some of my favorite bloggers took notice of this trend to upcycle vintage quilts into charming jackets.

So, I teamed up with Kristina of Ollie & Mags Handmade to bring you just that. You can find all of the details about that collaboration and all of the jackets available through the link in my profile!

Happy Sunday, friends! I am coming to you on a Sunday to announce that these vintage quilt jackets go on sale tomorrow morning at 9 AM CST through my Etsy page.

I have some very exciting news to share! I have been working on a very fun collaboration with my incredibly talented friend, Kristina of .and.mags . Kristina is bringing my quilt dreams to life by turning my carefully curated, well-loved, vintage quilts into quilt jackets.

We plan to launch our first vintage quilt jacket collection on Monday, October 18 on my Etsy page so you can wear your very own piece of well-loved handmade history.
