Wanted to share a little history about my Grandma's shop:
The Olde Cracker Factory Antiques was one of the best sources for antiques in San Diego. Three unique floors of antiques made it an antique emporium, almost like a maze which featured numerous tiny rooms complete with antiques dedicated to a specific antique niche: memorabilia, antique furniture and collectibles offered by a variety of different dealers. Some of the most unusual shops focused on items such as: Victorian, Japanese and Chinese, Hawaiian collectibles, antiquarian books, early California potters and Vargas girls pin-ups.
Originally it was a Nabisco Factory from 1913-1941 before becoming a Candy Factory. In 1968 it was purchased and reopened as the antique mall. After four decades it was remodeled into residential lofts and businesses.
