Sometimes I feel like I’m doing this over and over and over again. And wonder when am I going to just get going and keep going?

I have had thoughts that this makes me weak or a failure.

But, I know deep down that is just bull$&@? that runs through our minds.

Let’s not beat ourselves up. Let’s have some grace with ourselves and just do the best we can, with what we’ve got, in each day and moment!

Hey everyone!! What are you all up to tonight?

I’m sitting in the Walmart pickup lot waiting for my groceries and it’s taking forever! I usually do this this on Sunday mornings and it’s usually so quick.

But this past week hasn’t been normal so I didn’t make it yesterday.

Maybe you noticed, or maybe not lol, but I’ve been pretty absent here for a week or so.

My husband spent 5 days inpatient at the hospital undergoing what seems like every test in the books. He’s been sick with something for 18 days now and despite all those tests we still don’t know what!!

Since I’m just here chilling in my car, which is actually kinda nice to just veg, I thought I’d say hello and let you know I’m still here. Purple Finch Boutique is still alive. I’ve just been a little busy and kinda drained.

Fresh hair, new dress, smile on my face, lifting my head high!

I’ve been a bit absent here. Life was busy. I’ve been a bit overwhelmed. And most recently caught off guard by the actions of another.

I started to let it get to me. I mean more than my own usual self criticisms.

But no more! I’m over it!

We cannot control the thoughts, actions, or behaviors of others.

What we can control is our reaction to whatever is happening. Don’t let things out of your control ruin your mood, days, or life. If we do, we are the only one who will suffer.

Put on pretty clothes, do your hair, put on a smile, and brush off the bull&$@!
