This hasn’t been the easiest decision. The amount of times I’ve cried because of this. My family needs me but most importantly my kids need me. I’m a stay at home mom to a 3 yr old & 1 yr old and you know, they require moms full attention 24/7 and running a boutique by yourself makes it 1000x harder to be a present mother. It’s not easy and it will never not be easy especially with babies. Right now, in this stage of our kids life’s is just not doable to run the boutique. I wish I could say it is, I kept telling myself it is, but it’s not manageable. I’m the type of person that can only do one thing at a time, I’ve always been like that and always will be. It helps me focus on getting one thing done at a time instead of spreading myself thin to the core. It’s not fair to my husband nor my kids and the only option I’m giving myself is closing down Whiskey Rain for now. I have given my absolute all to the boutique and now it’s time I give it to my kids. I have no idea what the future looks like for me in the boutique world, but when the time comes you’ll be one of the first to know. Of course I would love to open back up when the kids get into school full time which leaves me open with more time to run a business. But for now, THANK YOU for the outpouring support and love you have given Whiskey Rain Boutique over the last 2 1/2 years. I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve given me and allowed me to give. I feel blessed to be supported by family, friends, and complete strangers that have turned into family & friends! You have no idea the kind of life you’ve given me that allowed me to keep going. I will always be here for you, just like you were for me. Not goodbye, but a see you later!
