A little thank you… and a little apology. ❤️

First, THANK YOU. Truly.

Our annual Sidewalk Sale was absolutely incredible and we are so grateful to every single person who came out, shopped, laughed, visited and supported our local business.

For the past five days, our team has been going NONSTOP—pricing, hauling, setting up, rearranging, helping customers, restocking, cleaning up…and doing it all over again the next day. 😂

Today, as we approached our 4:00 weekend closing time, we started packing things up around 3:50. A couple of customers arrived just before closing and if we made you feel rushed or unwelcome, I sincerely apologize. That is never how we want anyone to feel at Linnea’s.

But I also wanted to share the very human side of small retail.

Sometimes by the end of a big event, our feet hurt, our backs hurt, our brains are officially done braining and we are just READY TO GO HOME. 😂

Retail is wonderful. I absolutely love what we do. But it is also hard work—especially for a small business and a small team that puts its whole heart into creating these events.

So tonight I’m giving my amazing team a little grace and I hope you will too. ❤️

Thank you for supporting our hardworking team.
And thank you for understanding that behind every small business are real people who sometimes hit 3:50 and simply have nothing left in the tank. 😂
