We didn't do any pickin this weekend but we did enjoy family time and lots of good food. Ended the night hanging out in downtown Birmingham in the VA parking deck watching some of the best fireworks. Thunder on the Mountain did not disappoint. Happy 4th of July everyone.

Finally got Fridays estate sale hauls unloaded and photographed. It was a very good day. I also got a collection of fantastic large pop up books but I ran out of daylight and will post those tomorrow. I was solo pickin (no mom, sister or Greg) because I had to go straight to a Drs appointment after. Thankful for the young helper working the 1st sale. He kept running stuff out to my pile for me. The collection of flower frogs and the Fenton hobnail Vaseline glass vase are the big scores. I'll be working on prices tomorrow.

We made it home and unloaded real quick to get some pictures while the sun was still up. We have a few things to do to the pieces to get them ready for new homes. (Except for the tall blue cabinet and the cash drawers are Not for sale) Loot at all of those adorable rug beaters. The shelves are great. The cash register is the original to the cash drawers and came from an old store that was in Newnan Georgia.

Heading back home to Alabama from Georgia with this load. I couldn't get pictures of everything before it was loaded. I will get some later. The tall blue piece and the old store countertop money drawers are staying in our collection. The other three pieces will be available soon. We also stopped by the West Georgia Flea Market and got some cottage core peg shelves and 10 antique rug beaters in all different sizes. (Pictures to come)
