My sister and one brother died of gun shot wounds on Sept. 5th, 2019. This article has him running. He did not run. There was no woods. The trees are on her property. Her name was Dr. Sally Burt Harrison. She was my best friend.
Our nation has no rooms for the mentally ill. Families must take care of their own. This is what happens. Sally had three gun shots including one to her right temple of which she died. Sam had fourteen shots from just one of the deputies. There were four. The force of their guns was so great he was knocked into the water and they watched as he tried to swim. This neighborhood did not take up a collection for Sam and Sally, nor for Sally's sons, nor for the remaining brother and myself. I want to become an advocate for families of the mentally ill. ENCORE!! If you just happened to notice Ritzy Roost closed it's doors on Saturday we have a surprise for you. We will open our doors tomorrow morning at 10 am. People will be coming in to pick up large items they have previously purchased. I will be straighteneing my office and working at cleaning up. If you happen to be in town all Clothing will be on Sale for $1, coats $5, wedding dresses: sizes - 6, 6/7, 7/8 best offer. Larger items such as Rolling Racks, Tall Rounders, Short Rounders, chairs, desk, lamps etc. not already purchased can be viewed and bids will be accepted. We may not be open all day. TOMORROW is our Last Day for the Ritzy Roost .... I would like to formally invite each and everyone here looking at this page to come to Downtown LaGrange and our place on the Square. It's a sobering time for our family but the crowd we are expecting should help ease those pangs from 11 - 3 (maybe 4 if business continues)

I will post also on the LaGrange Yard Sale after I finish here with many more photos and glimpses at what's on Sale. I will also type up a flyer for our guests tomorrow letting everyone know what large articles are still available and at what targeted price. I do want to ad here that while the community is seeing a great chance to make purchases cheap we, the Roost Family, need to make as much money as we can in order to defer the tremendous loss my sister, Sally, and I are experiencing. I guess what I'm saying is in coming in to find bargains please try not to take advantage of the Shop's need now. Sally & I & Joe & Tim have given all that we can possibily give to the community of LaGrange in terms of money, time, effort, and energy. I pray that someone or several individuals come forward tomorrow to begin the process of purchasing the business. We believe LaGrange needs you to do this and negotiations and time payments are possible.

Photo #4: TEACHERS! This Hand-Made, Hand-Painted Lectern would be a great addition to your classroom or church. While Tim created it as a Map of the Stop simply adding a stick of wood to the bottom of the top surface and removing the Map Pieces (they were made to remove) and you've created a Lectern you can put your papers or book on to teach.

2 DAYS & Counting. We sold the refrigerator today, one shoe rack, a hat rack, large stir fry pan, pictures, loads and loads of clothing and more! Prices went down again.

Received one phone call about the purchase of the business which is what I really want. However, I was pulled in so many directions at the time I wasn't able to have a good conversation. So - if you are the woman who called me from Columbus or you know who called me - I would really love it if you called again! This time I'll make time to call. Also the United Methodist minister did not return my call - message I left with the secretary - nor did the head of Scholar's Services at LaGrange College. If you know these individuals would you have them give me a call? Especially Jack.
