e, The Peace Exchange strives to help the poorest of the poor. The Peace Exchange partners with current NGOs, assisting in their efforts to promote social enterprise in developing nations. Whether it is a sewing workshop in the Congo or a jewelry workshop in Tanzania, we work with others to help promote and sell their handmade products in the Americas and Europe. The Peace Exchange is run by 11 board members. Our backgrounds are in Fair Trade, finance, philanthropic work, and humanitarian aid. As we volunteer our time and efforts to see the successful launch of new Fair Trade initiatives around the world, we hope you partner with us to make a global impact. Through the purchase of The Peace Exchange items, the majority of proceeds are returned to the artisan. As we are all citizens of the world, let’s work together and create a peaceful exchange.
