Nona’s Needles & Notions Handcrafted children’s clothing made by me, Nona’s mom ❤️ My sewing journey began in 2022 while expecting our first baby, Nona.

Sewing has always intrigued me but seemed too far out of reach and too complex of a craft. When I found out we were having a girl I went out and bought my very first sewing machine! I dreamed of creating beautiful things for her. After dozens of YouTube videos, endless conversations with sweet grandmas at Joann's, and time I could proudly say, "I can sew". It has been such a fun adventure with a l

Behind the scenes: 25 yards of zipper tape and 100 little pulls ready to get to work ✂️

This is a new addition to my setup and I’m so excited to try it out! I’ve heard it’s a total game changer. It’s supposed to be more cost effective and way more versatile since I can make whatever length I need.

Sewing is my passion in every sense of the word.

During my pregnancy with my second daughter, I was told it could be months before I’d get back behind my machine. After a really hard first postpartum, that honestly scared me.

But thank God that’s not how it went. I have the most supportive husband who always pushes me to keep doing what I love.

These days, sewing is slower and definitely more challenging but getting to do what I love, with the little human I love… that’s priceless 🤍
