Wrong holiday, you say? It is always the right time for a handsome turkey like this guy. I started this in a class with Diane Stoffel. It is a Cushing postcard pattern. Our wonderful framer, Gail Karlen, from Paisley Pansy delivered it today. Look at the great frame we chose, perfect for this guy! Thanks Gail for all the beautiful framing you do for me and the others here at the store! You are a treasure.

Day 8....go to the Omaha Hook-In....come visit the store on Sept 30 after the Hook-In. We will be open 10-8 on Friday the 30th and 10-5 on Sat. Oct.1. We will have a rug show, pattern sale, register to win $100 with purchase, color planning, problem solving and so so so much hand dyed wool. Come visit. There will be a flier with info at the Hook-In! Here is a favorite of mine, I did this in a fine shading class with Diane Stoffel. Expertly framed by Gail Karlen.

DAY 2 of visit the store enticement! If you are in the Omaha NE area, and you like wool, rug hooking, appliqué or just textiles in general this is a fun spot! Day 3A….. I already posted today but have to celebrate my granddaughter Landry’s 3rd birthday by showing this rug I hooked of her and her horse friend. I just got it back from the framer, Gail Karlen did a marvelous job, as usual. I am loving the leather frame. This could be my Celebration entry for this year. Horse love runs in this family from both sides. I think I will call this one ‘BLISS’. Thanks Diane Stoffel for your superb guidance. Happy Birthday little Landry.
