Through my life as meany know I struggled with a neurological disability (dyslexia) witch took a huge tool in my everyday life. For years most of the focus was on that however, I struggled even worse with my mental health and yes that may have had some to do with the experiences of my dyslexia but there was even more in life that added to it.
❦
I struggled with anxiety and depression for years and it wasn’t until I become self-aware of these struggles in college that I finally reach out for help. I created this shirts so more kids like me don’t hide and can stand tall and ask for that hand to hold in tough times. Help show your awareness and support for mental health so people who struggle know they can turn to you in tough times for a hand.

For every mental health awareness shirt purchased in the month of May we will be donating 5% to the nonprofit organization To Write Love On Her Arms (TWLOHA). It started with a story and has evolved into a movement. TWLOHA’s mission is to present hope and find help for people who struggle with depression, self-injury, addiction, and su***de.
