My mission is to unify people across generations to inspire change and promote creativity while reducing mass-market clothing consumption. Frocked Up is a sustainable clothing company and I started this business to inspire makers of all ages to re-create used clothing into unique one-of-a-kind fashion. As a former fashion designer, I was horrified at the pollution of our planet and now, I see the

fast fashion mega companies destroying it further. There is not much individuality in fashion, one store looks like the next. Sewing is having a resurgence, and I want to unite the generations through the single voice of creativity. In this noisy, busy world, we can slow down and breathe, and sew, and show our unique selves to the world. For example, I take vintage beaded gowns that are outdated—but still beautiful—and turn them into modern formal wear for events such as Homecoming, Winter Formal, and Prom. By using the flashy presentation of a sparkly outfit — new makers or makers with a parent who sews — will be inspired to make their own creations! Follow along and learn how you can be part of the journey!
