If you live near or are visiting Saratoga NY or the Lake George Area and enjoy live classical and modern music performances, you definitely need to check out the summer schedule of Luzerne Music Center in Lake Luzerne!

They have wonderful Free Student Concerts and very affordable seats to attend their Faculty Artist Series and amazing guest performances.

Last night we were treated to a varied program that included selections by Shubert, Bach, and Tchaikovsky as well as Afterimages, the first live performance of Sean Doyle's (one of the 2026 faculty's composers-in-residence) which was awesome!

Upcoming special concerts include the Grammy Award winning Acropolis Reed Quintet on August 3rd and on August 10th, the Fabulous Philadelphians comprised of 4 distinguished musicians from the Philadelphia Orchestra.

I've been celebrating the arrival of summer by painting lake and boating scenes based on photos taken in the Lake George Area or on our travels. I've also started experimenting with gouache and adding more pen / ink highlights which has been fun!

Newest signed originals available for purchase are: Red Boat at the Dock watercolor and Blue Water Sailing gouache- both are 6 x 6 unframed and sell for $55 each. The Seaside Village watercolor art is 8 x 8 and sells for $75. Framing is available for both. Please message me with any questions, to arrange for purchase or to book commissioned art - thanks!

Hope you had a fabulous Fourth of July, celebrating our country's 250th bday! We had a lovely visit with one of our daughter's and her husband and 2 grandkiddos. I was also part of a 200+ person choir and sang "This is My Country" and "God Bless America" with the Glens Falls Symphony ending with fireworks- an utterly amazing experience! If you ever get a chance to sing with a large chorus and /or symphony, go for it, it's life changing experience :)

We really enjoyed attending the First Presbyterian Church of Glens Falls fundraising concert with Raymond & Zane Agnew on Saturday, and look forward to seeing them perform again at The Sagamore Resort and at Wiawaka Holiday House, Inc. during the summer.

Woo-Hoo, the Limited Edition 2027 Adirondacks Photo & Art Calendars are in and I'm packing up the 11"x 14" size today!

Both the 5" x7" Desk Calendars and Wall Art 11" x 14" sizes celebrate the wonder of our life in the glorious Adirondacks, and
include lovely Lake George and Lake Luzerne scenes.

The 2027 Calendars and my other art products - including a few original framed watercolors and Canvas wall art photos - will be in available soon in the amazing Silo Restaurant & Gift Shop in Queensbury, Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council (LARAC)Gift shop in Glens Falls, and other retailers 🙂

It's been an amazing journey to produce these, and kudos go to Kingsbury Printing Co, Inc. for their beautiful printing work since the first 2024 edition!
