ONE MORE MILE CONTEST WINNER — NATASHA!!

Sometimes a pair of shoes comes with a story you never could have imagined!

Today we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Natasha into The Fallen Arch to claim her prize from our One More Mile Contest!

After seeing the condition of her old shoes, we knew she was ready for a new pair! But what made today so special was watching her face light up when she slipped into a pair of HOKA Bondi 9s! They fit her PERFECTLY, and she immediately asked if she could have that exact pair! That smile said everything!

But here’s where the story gets even better…

Natasha is a J-1 worker from Bosnia, and she has just TWO DAYS left in Lake Placid before heading home. What are the odds that I served in the U.S. Army in Bosnia back in 1999, and here we are, 27 years later, sharing this incredible moment in our little shoe store in Lake Placid, NY!

Sometimes life really does come full circle.

Seeing how genuinely happy Natasha was today reminded Nicole and me exactly why we love what we do. It’s not always about selling shoes. Sometimes it’s about the people, the connections, and the memories made along the way.

Congratulations, Natasha!! We hope those new Bondi 9s carry you many happy miles, all the way back to Bosnia and beyond!

Thank you to EVERYONE who participated in our One More Mile Contest. This is exactly the kind of story we hoped it would create!
