1990, I was 10 years old. My mom was like “You really want those ugly purple shoes, you have to wear them the whole year.” 😂 I was like “yep” and so there I was, The Fresh Prince of East Nashville. Still have a pair in the closet to this day. And in the 90s you had to pair your J’s with nylons “swooshies” and a fresh jersey. Ah, the good ole days. 😆 oh to be 10 again.
