So far in my new space I have found a stash of magnums, a variety of adult toys, and a wall full of 60’s playboys. Being the resourceful gal that I am, I decided to go through and recycle some of these girly mags and make some retro wallpaper. The for-mentioned items were put on the curb and quickly snatched up, as I have no use for recycling 🤣. I will say I’m having a blast going through all of these magazines. Articles are damn good and the photography is amazing. I definitely have my feelings about Hugh Hefner and his legacy, but I can appreciate the true art and photography of these classics. Anyway, this is one of my favorite pictures and I just picked up this 70’s Penny lane coat even though it’s not Penny lane coat season I was inspired to model it after the inspo pic. What the hell is the point of this post you ask? I don’t really know. Found someone’s stash and a heap of vintage inspo. and for that I say thanks former tenant!

One of the best parts about owning a Vintage shop is having access to meeting people you ordinarily wouldn’t in your day-to-day life. It gives me such great pleasure to style vintage outfits and accessorize them with pieces that have been created by amazing people. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many great and creative women throughout my career in vintage and I feel like shout outs are due and applause for all of the hard work and vision that these women have done for creativity, society, and just being awesome people as a whole. So ladies, here’s my thanks, and here’s your virtual flowers! 🌺 (if you’re wondering about this amazing roach brooch yes it is for sale in the shop and people will either love you for it or hate you for it.) I love polarizing jewelry, and clothing and accessories in general, so f**k yes to that! The apartment above Trashé Vintage in Downtown Lake Worth Beach is going to be available soon, and honestly, it’s one of the coolest historic spaces I’ve ever seen.

The building dates back to the early 1920s and still has tons of original character, including beautiful hardwood floors, vintage architectural details, high ceilings, and a layout that’s anything but cookie-cutter.
