Today has been hectic! I’m already in bed dealing with kidney stones 🤪 while my husband starts packing orders we got behind on this week.
Some people think running a business is easy and glamorous and all reward, but the reality is it’s a constant grind, with lots of learning along the way from making mistakes when you’re first starting out. You wear all the hats: creating products, coming up with designs, executing them, talking with manufacturers, vetting manufacturers, dealing with import duties and customs delays, website design and optimization, email marketing, responding to customers, dealing with exchanges or orders that were incorrect — we are human, and it’s just myself and my husband!
And we’re doing all of this while juggling being parents, (Randy does work full time) keeping up with the kids, the laundry — you should see my bed as I type this lol — house chores, and everything else, especially when you have little kids who are just WILD. lol iykyk.
All this to say: thank you. Thank you for supporting our small family brand.
It’s crazy to think that it’s JUNE and I already have all my Christmas, for the most part, done and will be starting pre-orders soon. That just sounds insane to me! Christmas is definitely our busy season, and I’m hoping to be more prepared than last year!
