This is a post that I’ve pushed off for a few weeks, but it’s time to share. 😭
I have LOVED getting to create things for all of my amazing customers over the past few years. But with the creation of these items comes a lot of time and energy. I took a break when I was pregnant with Stanton and then came back full gear, putting in the work—and it’s been great—but it’s also been A LOT.
I am the type of person that if I’m going to do something, I’m going to do it 100%. Over the past six months, I’ve been busy with cookies and everything else but haven’t had time to post a single order or take on big holiday orders like I have in the past. I have big ideas, but not the time or ability to do them right now. Putting 100% into this business has been pulling from my time with my full-time teaching job and from my family.
We have announced that we are pregnant and welcoming another baby boy to our family this summer. With that, I have to start making choices about what’s best for myself, my mental health, and my family. Stepping away from the business is sad, but it’s what needs to be done so I can focus on our growing family and all the new things coming our way this year.
I will miss each of you, and who knows what the future holds—maybe we’ll make a comeback someday. But for now, I’ll do all I can to help you find someone amazing to bring all your cookie, cake, and balloon dreams to life!
