Farewell 2022 ✌🏼
This past year has been mostly a learning journey for me in so many ways. I’ve been working on creating new goals for the year to come and where I would like to see this adventure take my business.

I would like to say Thank You, to all who have continued to support Field Of Thread, from the very beginning (nearly 9 years ago) and to those who have just begun. Our 10th year is going to be the biggest yet! A lot of change is coming & I hope y’all will follow along. Cheers to a New Year Everyone 🥂 ✨

Happy Birthday Field of Thread ✨

This past weekend we celebrated our 8th Birthday as a business. 😳 (crazy to think)
It gave me a lot of time to truly reflect on this past year. And it was a pretty odd one at that.🌪 I’ve experienced some of my biggest highs & lowest lows throughout of my small business journey. A lot of growth has come from it and continues to be a never ending learning process. I mean what’s the point if you don’t challenge yourself, push yourself to try new things, fail...but keep trying.

With that I wanted to share a few of our highs & lows. The highest & proudest thing I’ve accomplished with my sewing journey happened at the beginning of this pandemic. I have never felt more driven or passionate about wanting to make fabric face masks and donate them to as many people as I could. There were no days off, no putting things off to complete another day. It was draining, but worth every minute of my hands cramping up, burns from the iron & the stiff neck and back pains. To know God was with me through it all, growing my relationship with him daily & to know I was right where I was meant to be, helping in the best way I could. My highlight of my career, truly. 🌞

With that did come some of my lowest lows. I lost my creativity, my desire to work on other things. Once face masks became more available I had done my job, what was there for me now? It took a long time to find it again, and it didn’t just come back to me. I had to work for it, push myself to dive back into all the designs I had started before this pandemic. It is still a struggle at times to be in that creative mindset but I refuse to allow it to overcome me. I am surrounded by such an amazing support system who give me so much drive & motivation to keep going. To my friends & family who continue to support me & to my amazing customers who have stuck around through all the bumps & changes throughout the years, YOU are the reason Field of Thread still stands.
Peace & Love to you all ✌🏼 🥂 💚

🌼 I’m still here! 🌼
I’m sorry I’ve been a little quiet on here lately. Still very much in the mask making world and it’s insane to think it’s been 2 months now of this 😳. Throughout this whole experience I have come across some of the sweetest people, so appreciative and supportive with what I’ve set out to do with this whole thing, and I have come across a few not so friendly, impatient “WHERE are my free face masks” kind of people as well. When it all comes down do it, I wouldn’t change a thing about it. I set out to make as many fabric face masks as I could and get them to as many people as possible, not to make a profit, but to simply help in the only way I knew how to. And that is what I will continue to do 🖤
Also, a huge shout out to an amazing couple who has supported me throughout this and surprised me with this very spot on tshirt! My hair is covering some of it haha but Sewing is my Superpower, and I will wear this shirt proud ✊🏼

Everything I have done in my sewing career has brought me to this very moment. God has prepared me for all of this and I am so grateful and humbled to be able to create something with my own two hands and share with the world, to help keep you all a little safer each day. 🤲🏼💟

The Story so far...

Born and raised in sunny Southern California. I've been fortunate to have been brought up by a family full of creative woman. From my Great Aunt who was a clothing designer, to my Grandmother who can turn almost anything to art, even my Future Mother-In-Law has worked in the sewing world!

I have always had a passion for sewing. Starting when I was in elementary school, getting into my Mother's sewing basket and trying to alter my clothing. Once I became a freshman in High-school, I took a Home Economics class and have been hooked ever since.

The art of creating something out of nothing is the most beautiful thing about what I get to do.

Ohh and did i mention sometimes I get the time to make myself a few goodies.
