The numbers are in!

Continuing a wonderful trend, Old Town ArtFeast saw another significant increase in visitors this year! Just over 8,000 people joined us in Historic Old Town for a perfect summer Saturday filled with incredible art, and delicious food.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this year’s ArtFeast our biggest yet!

Good afternoon, everyone! We wanted to give you a quick update on why we’re closed today.

When we came in this morning, we discovered a serious leak coming from upstairs that caused quite a mess. Unfortunately, we’ll need to remain closed for the entire weekend so we can make the necessary repairs and get everything cleaned up and back in order.

We’ll keep everyone posted with updates and let you know as soon as we’re ready to reopen.

Both Dolly Parton and Tim Curry died on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, and remarkably, both were 80 years old.

I just taught a grown-ass straight man—my age—how to put air in his tires. The poor guy was paying $3 for premium air at Quality Dairy and was about to leave with less air than he started with. 😂

I watched for a minute, but it became too painful, so I had to intervene with a little Q***r Eye for the Straight Guy: Tire Edition:

“Honey, your tire isn’t filling because you have to squeeze the lever.”

He was pressing the air chuck against the valve stem but wasn’t squeezing the inflator lever, so instead of adding air, he was actually letting air OUT of the tire. It was one of those old-fashioned inflators where the little stick gauge shoots out and tells you the PSI.

Then I discovered he had absolutely no idea how much air was supposed to be in the tire. So I showed him the sticker inside the driver’s door: 35 PSI.

I also told him about the FREE fancy air at Belle Tire that I use—the digital kind where you select the PSI, fill the tire, and the machine beeps when you’ve reached the correct pressure.

So not only did I make sure this man got his $3 worth of premium air, I gave him a complete tire-pressure education. 😂

When I learned how to drive, I was taught how to change the oil, rotate tires, change brakes, and do basic car maintenance. You’d think somewhere along the way somebody would have at least taught this poor man how to put air in a tire.

But he knows now.

Another heterosexual successfully rescued. My work here is done. 😂
