This is my take on the magnolia pearl $600 skirt. Of course I made mine winter friendly out of flannel.

Well long time, no post!!! So much has happened since the last time I posted. The most significant thing is that I bought a house. Nobody told me that I’d be busy doing home projects for the first two years lol. Needless to say, I haven’t done much sewing in the last couple of years. I miss it and I am ready to get back to it. I’ve decided the best way to do that is by taking on three sewing challenges in 2024. All three challenges are intertwined. The first challenge is to make one thing a week for the entire year. Second challenge is to sew my stash. Everything I make must have at least one thing out of my stash of fabric and supplies in it. I’m hoping this will cut down on the hoarder amount of fabric and supplies that I have 😳. The third part of my 2024 sewing challenge is that I will not be purchasing any gifts for anybody. Everyone that I normally buy for, will receive a homemade gift for me this year. I am excited to get started and get my “sew-jo” back!! Stay tuned to travel this journey with me through my successes and my failures in this upcoming year. Glad to be back 🥰

Hello Facebook family, I want to announce my retirement from sewing for clients. It has been a good run and I have built up quite a clientele, but my life is going in a new direction. I have been blessed to move up in seniority in my job that pays the bills LOL, last school year working from 6 AM until almost 5 PM and that doesn’t leave a lot of time for sewing. As most of you know I am training for a big bike ride and you wouldn’t believe the hours of training that it takes! My family is growing and I would like to spend time sewing things for my children and grandchildren. My art of sewing also includes sewing my own wardrobe, which I have had no time to do. I dearly appreciate all of you that I have hired me to do work for you, thank you from The bottom of my heart for your business. My retirement is effective as of July 1st. I will continue to post my creations and in the future I may possibly have items for sale, I’m just not taking on work for hire.

I am beyond happy with this awesome art I received in the mail!! Here’s the story....So my son Josh brought me a little piece of art that he got out of a Vending machine in Las Vegas. I loved it so much that I followed her on Instagram and I saw all of her amazing happy little monsters that she creates and I wanted one LOL. I contacted her and for a very reasonable price she created a piece of art that is unique to me ( as you can tell). I think she totally nailed my vibe! If you would like to support this happy artist you can follow her on instagram. ❤️❤️❤️

Love this pattern! I made this dress last week and I’ve already worn it three times. Instead of the plain fabric, I chose a net fabric that has skulls on it ( of course)
The pattern itself was super easy, but the fabric was a little tricky. I have all my Christmas shoes with this dress.... don’t judge me 😁😜

I made these costumes for my friend and I for Halloween! I think they turned out super cute! Designing outfits is not my strong suit, I prefer to work from sewing patterns. However, I did design these costumes. I learned how to make the circle skirts from a YouTube video and the hats also. The hats only took about 30 minutes from start to finish! Brianne purchased the shoes, the crinolines, and the gloves. I am hoping to make a shirt out of Mario fabric to wear under this jumper for every day use. I am the most proud of the appliqué mushrooms, I just love how they turned out ❤️💚
