I found a Pressed Fairy in my hand dyed Shibori Indigo. It's a special one.

Can you see it? Top right corner.
It's a cat drinking water from a pond. I plan to take this denim piece and put it on the back of a denim jacket. I will embellish it with a touch of airbrush so he's more visible and finish it with an some embroidered minnows created on my new machine.

This is a magical piece because the cat spirit makes himself so clear. If you can see his nose you can see his eyes, ears, body and even the tip of his tail. All visible. Amazing.

I call these Pressed Fairies because they are blessed spirit appearances in the natural patterns of the work. It must mean I'm doing it right.

Shibori, the ancient Japanese technique of tie dyeing takes years to master. This is an art practice I have adapted into my collection. Indigo runs deeply through my African roots and I consider it a gift to express myself through this art form. 💙

Check out lovely in our GXO "Grace Power" hand tie dyed/ hand airbrushed (by me) tee with matching Holstein skate leash and spiked toe caps! We met up at the skates night and we had an absolute blast with and finally experiencing the Vegas skate scene. Fun was had by all. 🛼⚡

Worked my 🍑 off last month and earned my first pair of Moxi roller skates! I went with the Panthers because that's my totem spirit and these were the last ones in my size! You know I had to snap these up for Summer! Add that to another one of my ✔️ Can't wait to take these babies out tomorrow.

I have always been obsessed with the concept of making something Original from scratch. Naturally I create my own components whenever possible in my jewelry line. Small batches. Small footprint. I love Gummi bears! I'm even more obsessed with them now that I can no longer eat them. Naturally I made Gummi bear earrings so I can wear them. These have sterling silver posts so they won't hurt sensitive ears. Cute! 😍 Coming soon to the shop!
