Our foundations lie firmly rooted in BMX, and we have always been enthusiastic about fashion and grass roots design, I guess you could say that Almond almost effortlessly became an amalgamation of all those inspirations.

5 years ago when we started Almond Footwear we sat Daniel Benson down and talked to him about his recent move to the big city. Benson went on to produce and edit the legendary Albion Magazine and still lives and rides in London, keeping to his word.

The reason this never aired was because we didn't really know what we were doing with cameras and editing. We just threw stuff together and consequently it was sitting on the chopping room floor for half a decade.
