First, I want to say thank you to everyone that ordered during the closet clear out // Memorial Day salel!! All orders were shipped yesterday/this morning! ♡
I also want to thank everyone that has ever ordered and those of you that have been supportive and been along for the ride!
YOU GUYS — IT'S BEEN A YEAR SINCE I STARTED THIS LITTLE SIDE HUSTLE!
Okay, one year and 2 days (of course I'm late😅). (Also, this is a long post, so at least read the last paragraph for important info!) It has been a blast and maybe it hasn't been as successful as I initially hoped (which is my fault — I could have advertised more and been more active on here in general, but it's been a funky year for us, haha) or maybe it hasn't been successful as defined by others, but it has been a success to me.
This whole thing helped pull me out of a bout of depression and it gave me something to focus on and something to throw my extra energy toward, even if it stressed me out at times. There were times when I had to be on the phone and people were talking to me like I was a business person and I felt so weird at first. Thankfully, most things can be handled via email...I mean, I have grown, but I am still so awkward! 😂 Anyway, I am proud of myself for learning something (*a lot of somethings*) new and for putting myself out there. It is not as easy as it seemed (at least not for me). By doing so though, I have become more confident. I get so proud of myself when I think and realize that I have shipped items to a good chunk, at least half, of the United States, including Alaska! Additionally, I can't explain the thrill, especially the first time it happened, of getting an order from someone I didn't know. None of this may seem important to you and I am not trying to brag or anything, but people ask me how the business is doing frequently and I've never really known how to answer, but these are small victories that make me feel like it's been a success (you may not define it as such and that's okay).
And so, again, from the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you all for your support! It has meant so very much to me. ♡
My little family has been so supportive and helpful too, so I just want to publicly acknowledge that... I am so thankful and know that I am so lucky to have them... peep the second photo of my little Logie Bear, who adores popping into my photos when I am trying to take them, haha.
Okay, I need to wrap this up, so, LASTLY, I also need to let you all know that I am heading home for a short visit with family before we have to move, so the store will be in vacation mode for the next two weeks (approximately), starting at midnight tonight. I apologize for the short notice and appreciate your understanding! Also, if you're planning on making an order, you may want to get it in tonight, but I am planning on opening back up for a few days when we get back to Vegas!
