🌵🧵 New Class Added!

Hello Pincushion Fans!

We are introducing a new-ish class! We have modified our Sewing Basics class to be kiddo friendly!

Saturday, July 29th, 10:30am
@ Rainbow Library
$90 per student

Class size is limited so be sure to sign up early!

We will also have an ages 13+ class that same day at 2pm!

Hello Pincushion Fans!
We have some big updates!!!

**Starting July 17th we will be closing down our storefront**

Although we are sad to say goodbye to our Highland Drive home, we are excited for the new possibilities! Pincushion will continue business as normal offering sewing classes and custom sewn items.

We will be hosting classes at a variety of community locations around the city to be able to reach more sewists of Las Vegas! Be sure to subscribe to the website to find out more about upcoming classes and where they are located!

For the next few months we will continue to offer Alterations by appointment only as well as Private Sewing Lessons by appointment.

We are excited about this new chapter in our lives and are so thankful to have you all there right there with us!

We have decided to reschedule our Marketplace for Every Third Sunday!!! So join us April 16th for our inaugural market!

If you are itching to get out of the house this weekend, we recommend checking out Market in the Alley at Uncommons or Hey Maker Co at Fergusons Downtown!!!

We still have a few vendor spots available for our first Marketplace on April 2nd! We're waiving vendor fees for this first market!

If you are interested in vending or know someone who might be interested, fill out our Vendor Application today!!!

All vendors will be housed inside our location at Sew.Make.Do at 2411 Highland Drive. There may be some months where we will feature some vendors outdoor in our parking lot. We have tables available to use, so once you fill out an application we will reach out regarding what table to set you at.

This month we are teaming up with the wonderful folks at to sew dog beds for 🐶⁠
⁠
This is a shop favorite for Charitable Crafting because not only is it an eco-friendly project, it's also a fun project to give back to our furry friends! ⁠
This event is free to participate, we do ask that you bring a donation from the list in the post. ⁠
⁠
(We also highly suggest you partake in the delicious Jammyland menu! Abby is particularly fond of the sweet potato fries 🤩 )⁠

We use a modified version of Pouf Pattern to create the perfect pet sized bed. ⁠
⁠
Join us on Saturday, December 18th starting at 3pm at Jammyland. We'll have machines, fabrics, and tools already set up... all we need is you!⁠

If you are looking for a way to get involved in the Las Vegas community, join us for Charitable Crafting this month!⁠
⁠
We are teaming up with UNLV School of Medicine and Road Equity Alliance Project for their Dusk2Dawn campaign. This campaign calls to attention the time change/fewer daylight hours and how dangerous this time of year is for pedestrians. ⁠

At these sessions we will be sewing reflective fabric on to clothing, backpacks and more!

You can sign-up online; space is limited so sign up soon! All volunteers asked to bring their own machines and tools.

🎉 Happy Saint Homobonus Feast Day!

Last year we stumbled across information about this lesser-known Saint and decided to honor him each year on his Feast Day (November 13th).

Saint Homobonus is the patron Saint of businessmen, businesswomen, entrepreneurs, tailors, cloth workers and shoemakers.

We are in no way a religious group but you can’t help to love the Saint of entrepreneurs!
