Cancer treatment can turn the things you never thought twice about into the things your entire day revolves around.

Eating. Showering. Walking. Sleeping.

For me, induction treatment for Acute Myeloid Leukemia meant 33 days in the hospital, where normal life became something completely different.

This was my experience. Every diagnosis and treatment looks different.

But if you’ve lived some version of this world, you know how quickly the little things stop feeling little.

People still go to work.
They still make plans.
They still complain about traffic, deadlines, and what they’re making for dinner.

No one is doing anything wrong.

One of the hardest parts of cancer isn’t the diagnosis.

It’s everything that comes after.

Everyone has advice.
Everyone has a story.
Everyone wants to help.

And most of the time…

They mean well.

But there comes a point where you have to stop chasing every opinion and stay committed to the path you’ve chosen with your medical team.

Not because every decision feels certain.

Because constantly second-guessing yourself only adds another battle to fight.

Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is stay the course.

In loving memory of Alondra, 🤍
We are heartbroken to learn of Alondra’s passing.

Our connection with Alondra began when we asked if she would help Infinite Motiv raise awareness. She said yes without hesitation.

The photo of her wearing our breast cancer design means even more to us now. Alondra was already carrying so much in her own life, yet she still chose to show up for people facing a different cancer. That speaks deeply to the kind of person she was.

She used her voice to educate others about melanoma, encourage people to take their skin health seriously, and help fellow patients feel less alone. She shared the hardest parts of her life with honesty, strength and an incredible generosity toward others.

Our hearts are with her family, her friends and everyone who loved her.

Thank you, Alondra, for supporting our mission and for using your voice to support so many others.

Her kindness reached beyond her own fight.
Rest in peace, Alondra. 🤍
