We want to shine a light on something that doesn't get talked about enough this Mental Health Awareness Month.

Many of our patients came to us after years of being treated for anxiety, depression, or chronic stress, only to find that their visual system was at the root of what they were experiencing.

Binocular Vision Dysfunction can cause or contribute to anxiety, overwhelm in busy spaces, difficulty concentrating, and a constant sense of unease. When the eyes are even slightly misaligned, the brain works non-stop to compensate, and that effort takes a real toll.

This is not to suggest that mental health diagnoses are not valid. They absolutely are. But if you've been treating anxiety and not getting the relief you hoped for, your eyes may be worth exploring.
