I have GOT to get this sewing room under control!
I have two commissions due by the end of the month and my work space is not workable 😬

Daily spending: $96.30 (dental hygiene supplies 🙄)

Current book: still Sprinkles and Sea Serpents by - I am about a third of the way through and it is delightful! I'll probably listen to the whole series by the time I am done with my commissions

Laundry today. Should have cleaned the sewing room, but I didn't.
I did change the bed sheets and the bathroom linens, though! So... celebrate the small wins.

Phone case came today, and now I am getting used to a new phone. Isn't the case pretty? If I have to keep feeding the disposable tech machine, at least I get to feel pretty while doing it.

I am recuperating today. Definitely at the end of this sickness but boy howdy is it holding on. My new phone arrived today but I am hesitant to unpack it because I do not have a case for it and I am not gentle on my phones...

Mindset for 2026 is: less is more.
💲I intend to pay better attention to how and where I spend my money (she said after just buying a $10 phone case on Amazon 🙄)
🌱I intend to be attentive to my yardage- I have already started a weekly yard clean up routine (which I have missed for the last two weeks because of other commitments)
🏠I intend to currate my domicile, passing on the items that no longer serve me and encouraging an environment and aesthetic that suits my lifestyle

No picture for yesterday, so here is breakfast with an accountability checkin:
Different kind of productive day - no business work, plenty of housework.
A dear friend is coming over to get measured for a commission piece today, so I spent yesterday trying to get my house at least pretend clean enough for company.

Breakfast today is a bit of a Ralphie Concoction pretending to be Ramen. I had left over spagnoodles from yesterday, so I made some Ramen broth and added an egg. Hopefully, it isn't too bad.

Today's tea was Ready to Rock by I was not, in fact, Ready to Rock this day. But at least the tea was yummy.

I have ZERO motivation today.
Feeling Human tea by is the only thing keeping me going right now. I haven't purchased this blend before, and I am regretting that choice now. It is beautiful.
Since there is Puer in it, I did a rinse first and brewed it for 2 minutes.
I have spent the last half hour sitting in silence and drinking this tea.

What an unproductive day!
I am definitely feeling the No Job Blues, but at least I have my favorite tea 🫖
I was supposed to work on my business ledger... or business website... or business ANYTHING
but instead, I spent the day watching on Netflix and feeling all the feels.
Oh well, Scarlett, tomorrow is another day.

I'm starting something new. It's not cosplay but maybe it will help me come back to cosplay... somehow...Friday is trash...

Friday is trash day, so Thursdays are now yard clean up days - fill up the trash bin with yard waste before putting it out for pickup. It's not much today, but it is more than it was yesterday.
