Don’t let his size fool you—this big guy is a total crybaby in the best way. He just wants to be close to his people and soak up all the love he can get. Charlie walks pretty well on leash and makes a great walking buddy, whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or a little outdoor adventure.

He also did really, really well meeting another dog, showing he’s got a friendly and easygoing nature. Charlie is truly just a nice boy through and through—gentle, loving, and ready to find his forever family.

I’m Simon… and lately, I’ve been watching a lot of new faces come through these doors. 🐾

Tiny puppies. Little kittens. Some scared, some confused, all needing a safe place to land.

It’s what they call “puppy and kitten season”… but from where I’m standing, it just means the shelter is getting fuller every single day.

I don’t mind sharing my space—but the truth is, there are more of us than there are homes right now.

That’s why spaying and neutering matters so much.

It helps prevent more litters from being born into uncertainty…
It keeps families from having to make heartbreaking decisions…
And it gives dogs like me a better chance at finding a home instead of waiting and waiting.

I’m one of the lucky ones—I’m safe, I’m cared for, and I know my turn will come. But so many others are still out there, or will be soon, if we don’t do our part.

If you love animals like me, please consider spaying or neutering your pets. It’s a simple step that makes a huge difference.

Because every puppy and kitten deserves a home… not a shelter kennel.
