This is a serious warning about Ya Hala Restaurant & Lounge in Lawrenceville, GA, and its owner, Mohammad Al Homsi.
If you are a woman, a young worker, someone applying for a job there, or someone thinking about bringing your family, friends, children, or people you care about to this restaurant, please be careful.
Based on what I personally witnessed and what multiple workers reported, this is not just a “bad job” situation. This involved serious concerns about inappropriate workplace behavior, female workers being made uncomfortable, underage workers being put in concerning situations, missing pay, unclear service charge handling, intimidation, retaliation, and multiple workers leaving after speaking up.
I am sharing this because people deserve to know what happened before they support, apply to, or bring loved ones into that environment.
This is not about drama.
Only safety, honesty, and accountability.
Please read everything carefully. Silence is how places like this keep moving forward like nothing happened.
