Lawson Cardinal Closet is a Lawson, MO free community clothes resource that started with a focus on winter gear. We take donations of gently used or new coats, hats, gloves, scarves, boots or other cold weather gear as well as general clothing and shoes. If this resource can help in any way within the community, it has served it's purpose! By appointment.

Good morning! What a fantastic morning we had Saturday at the closet! So much got to go to good use!! It makes my heart so happy when it serves it's purpose! Special thanks to my volunteers that helped out with sorting and putting up new items!
Stay tuned for the next open house day/ time. I am shooting for Saturday Aug 1st. If I am able to swing it, it will be AFTER Lawson Assembly of God's Serve Lawson event ( all are welcome for free school supplies, haircuts, groceries and more!) Be sure to check out their page for details.

Good morning! Lawson Cardinal Closet is open 9 to 11 this morning. Come shop for free and help clear out space!
Mens, women's and children's clothiny size 6t and up. Shoes and some purses. Grab a bag and fill it up! Community resource for ALL! Basement of United Methodist Church on Pennsylvania in Lawson. Look for sign as shown in picture.
Donations: We are full on men's and women's clothing but will accept children's 6t and up clothing.

Good morning! Saturday was great and we had so many people come and make space by filling their bags!! Thank you to everyone who helped the closet serve it's purpose!
Let's do it again this Saturday the 18th!
I will be at the Closet from 9am to 11am. Please bring a bag and fill it up! Please Read the pinned post on this page for questions, address etc.
We have children's 6t and up, men's and women's all sizes, shoes and some purses, formal dresses etc. All new or gently used. We have suits and dress clothes as well as casual and work clothes. I also have a section of Lawson Cardinal gear!
The more you take away, the more I can work through the rest of the donations that I haven't had room to put out. See you Saturday!

Good afternoon! The closet is completely overflowing with blessings. I can't take any donations currently because I am out of space. I will be doing some organizing tomorrow if anyone wants to come relieve some space by doing some shopping, please do!!! Any and all are welcome to take what they can use! What's better than shopping for free clothes! I will plan to be at the Closet from 9am to 11am tomorrow.

Good morning!! I have been quiet lately with a daughter getting married last month and this month in the middle of moving houses BUT! I plan to hit it hard once we get moved and settled!
Last weekend I took several bags of items to a family up north that lost everything to a fire. This is why we are here! I will be touching base later this week to see if they have additional needs after initial donations have been received and they know what else they might still be looking for.

I currently have need of
Smaller men's clothing. Men's shoes, children's clothing, especially boys sizes 6 and up and children's shoes. Also still looking for baskets to hold socks, blankets and toiletries as well as toiletries themselves.

Lawson Cardinal Closet is a free clothing closet for the community. We offer men, women and children's clothing 6t and up. We currently have a large awesome selection of women's shoes and clothing from casual to business of all sizes, many coats, gloves, scarves, jackets and sweatshirts, and a small selection of children's and men's clothing and shoes. We also have a small selection of GORGEOUS prom dresses! All clothing is new or gently used and of great quality.
Please let me stress that this is for ALL to enjoy. What better way to shop for new clothes than for FREE!
Need a new dress? Jeans? Shoes? Need to swap out your wardrobe? Have a job interview or event coming up? Sometimes we even have costumes! Have some nice clothing to purge? Bring it in, someone else will love it!

Children's shoes and clothing 6t and up
Baskets for shorts, blankets and toiletries

Good evening! Another evening of sorting and hanging conplete! I am currently full on women's clothing so other than the couple of people I have already spoken to about taking their donations in ( Debbie Sue Nelson Adreon and Becky Parker ) I will not be intaking any for now.
What I do need:
Anything on Amazon wish list ( baskets and personal hygiene items)
Boys and men's clothing all sizes 5t and up.
Jackets, sweatshirts and coats
Boys, girls and men's shoes
Please remember all donations need to be new or gently used, free of stains, pet hair or damage and clean.

Good morning community. We have a specific need of men's clothing size small. That's the extent of the information I have other than needing everything from underwear ( new ) and clothing so pants shirts etc and I would imagine socks as well. I have almost gotten through what I currently have and will be reaching out to those who have offered donations to organize the next round. You guys are amazing! 💚

Also! There is a post in the Excelsior Citizen page of someone looking for donations of men's clothing for an inpatient rehab facility trying to start a collection of men's clothing for them to have on hand. 💚 I know many can help her out!

Good morning! Ok now that I have my work traveling out of the way and got my life partially back in order I will be working at the closet tonight to get through the donations I currently have and seeing where I am with space before taking in another round. I am so grateful for all of the willingness to offer donations! I am limited on space so I will let everyone know in the next couple of days what I can take in for the next round and a date for drop off.
