Hey all-

We recently came down on some not great news, which has caused us to rethink and reevaluate how we will be spending our time together for the immediate future. I hate to do this…. But for my family, I’m going to take August and part of September off. I promise I’m not giving up on the shop, but when life continues to throw lemons, you start to feel really bruised up and need some time. I know it’s tax free weekend, and I was really going to do a drop, but behind the scenes it take up to 8 hours from start to finish. Plus it extends more past Sunday.

So instead, while we still can, I’m going to log out and spend time with my family and enjoy us being able to all be together.

I love you all- and I am sorry. But sometimes you just have to do what you have to do for your family. Send good vibes to the Barnes family while we navigate through another season in our lives. ❤️

First off I want to say Thank You for being patient with me as I navigate my new life as a working human and not just staying at home and running a small business human.

If I’m being honest, and hopefully this is a safe space to share…. I have completely neglected parts of my life when I took this new job on. Unfortunately Penny is one of those parts of my neglecting. Other parts of my life have failed as well- so I’ve been *trying* to build those back up which is another reason why Penny hasn’t had much movement.

This is by no means a sob story that I expect anyone to feel sorry for me- it’s just the honest truth and sometimes I have to remember that I am only one person and can only do so much in my life. So again, I thank you for your understanding for low movement here this summer.

With that being said- I will be getting back in the swing of it this payday weekend! Yay! Be watching out for sneaks, etc. ❤️

My sister and I are 12 years apart, I look at her as almost one of my own kids. I have so many favorite memories with her, but I think my favorite is when we took Owen to an arcade in the Bozeman mall and she got this huge bouncy ball right off the bat and had to carry the thing around the whole time we were there 😂

Sounds silly but I do think of that moment a lot. Mostly I laugh cuz she had this huge ball that barely fit in the car when we were finished.

Hey y’all!
I have some amazing news! So please bare with my long rant.

First, I’m changing the structure of the shop to only do drops on the 1st and 15th closest Sundays. This will hopefully help with payday and any barriers people face when shopping.

The reason for this change is because I recently accepted a much more in depth position at the Y and I am not sure I’ll be able to balance everything every week, so giving myself two weeks to prep is much easier.

Our next drop will be next Sunday March 13th!

I appreciate and love all of you! So let’s do a giveaway on this post- as a thank you to you all- comment your must have kitchen gadget! We recently got a roomba (if you count that as a kitchen gadget) and it’s LIFE CHANGING.
