The Prayer Closet The goal of our Prayer Ministry is to provide a place where God’s people can come together in prayer for one another.

We will accomplish this through leading believers into a greater biblical understanding of prayer and the power thereof; therefore, we are committed to equipping believers in the areas of intercession, spiritual warfare, fasting, and healing. These areas are crucial in developing and maintaining a powerful and effective prayer life, and are integral to the understanding and practice of prayer. Pra

yer, while it is a privilege that God gives to His people, is also a spiritual discipline which has to be developed and practiced. It is essential that the believer diligently seek to grow and mature in this area of their Christian experience. No matter how strong or weak you believe your prayer life is, there is always the possibility of growth and progress, and there is no better place to begin than in the “Prayer Closet”.

Almighty God, give ear to our words this morning, and consider the meditations of our hearts. Hear the voice of our cry, O God, for unto You we do continue to pray, and look up. In You, O God, all things are possible, so do we pray that You would hold our hearts within Yours today, and renew our mind, body, and soul. Today, we choose to trust You with all our hearts. When we do not understand the path, help us trust the Guide. When questions arise, help us rest in Your wisdom. When burdens seem heavy, remind us that Your shoulders are broad enough to carry what we cannot. Father, search our hearts and remove anything that competes with our complete dependence upon You. Teach us to surrender our plans, our fears, our disappointments, and even our successes into Your hands. Let our faith not be divided between You and ourselves, but wholly centered on You. Direct our paths today. Order our steps. Open the right doors and close the wrong ones. Give us wisdom in every decision, patience in every trial, and compassion toward every person we encounter. Strengthen the weary, heal the sick, encourage the discouraged, and comfort those who are grieving! In JESUS name!

Father, we come before You with grateful hearts on this day. Thankful that you watched over us through the night, and that with every morning, Your mercies are new. Thank You for Your faithfulness, Your protection, and Your unfailing love. Thank You for every prayer You have answered, every door You have opened, and every battle You have brought us through. Today, we ask for Your wisdom to guide our decisions, Your strength to sustain us through every challenge, and Your peace to guard our hearts and minds. Help us to walk by faith and not by sight. Keep us from discouragement, doubt, and fear. Remind us that the One who is in us is greater than anything that comes against us. Father, for those who are hurting, bring healing. For those who are weary, bring renewal. For those who are facing uncertainty, bring direction. For those who are carrying burdens too heavy to bear alone, remind them that they can cast all their cares upon You because You care for them. Lord, let Your healing virtue touch every area of our lives—body, mind, spirit, family, and relationships. Where there is weakness, grant strength. Where there is confusion, grant clarity. Where there is sorrow, grant comfort. Help us today to be a light to others. Let our words be seasoned with grace, our actions reflect Your love, and our lives bring glory to Your name. We choose this morning to place our hope in You. We trust Your promises, rest in Your presence, and walk forward in faith, knowing that You are working all things together for our good. For this is the day that You have made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. In JESUS name!

Almighty God, we surrender all to You this morning with complete abandonment of self. Strengthen us by Your spirit, to live lives befitting of the grace which has been bestowed upon us as children of the Most High God. Lord we desire to be the proof of what is Your good, acceptable, and perfect will; living examples of what it means to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age. Manifest Yourself, O God, in every area of our lives; in our families, in our relationships, even in our alone times. Remind us of the passion and conviction that we felt, when we first surrendered our hearts to You and Trusted in You, after that we heard the word of truth, the gospel of Your salvation. Return us, Lord GOD, to the place of our first love, that we may lose ourselves in Your Great Love for us; to the place where Your tender mercies shall not be withheld from us, and Your lovingkindness and Your truth will continually preserve us. O how we love You, O God, and praise You for who You are, and what You have done in our lives! Never leave, O God, nor cast us away from Your presence, and take not Your holy spirit from us! Almighty God, Lord we come before You this day with grateful hearts, thanking You for every father, grandfather, stepfather, foster father, mentor, and godly man who has helped guide, protect, teach, and love others. Today, we ask Your blessings upon fathers everywhere. Strengthen them to lead with integrity, love with patience, serve with humility, and walk faithfully before You. Give them wisdom for every decision, courage for every challenge, and grace for every season of life. For fathers carrying heavy burdens, grant them peace. For fathers facing uncertainty, grant them direction. For fathers who are weary, renew their strength. For fathers who are standing in the gap for their families, remind them that their labor is not in vain. We make petition also for those who find this day difficult—those who have lost their fathers, those who long to be fathers, and those whose relationships are strained. Let Your comfort, healing, and presence be near to them today. May every father look to You as his example, and may every family experience the love, peace, and blessing that come from walking with You. In JESUS name!

Almighty God and keeper of all life. Lord we are determined that no matter what lies ahead on this day, we will trust You, for You alone are worthy of our complete confidence. We know, dear God, that there is no problem is too difficult for You; no petition that we could bring before You in prayer that is too perplexing or too hard for You to answer; no need too great for You to supply; no misdirected passion too strong for You to restrain; no temptation too powerful for You to deliver us from; and no misery too deep for You to relieve us of, for You are GOD! Lord we rest upon these truths, confident and trusting that there is no enemy force of which we should be afraid; nor any weapon formed against us which shall be able to prosper! So do we come boldly before Your throne of grace this morning, with Jesus as our Advocate, offering up prayer and supplication with thanksgiving; confident that they will not only be heard, but answered! Heavenly Father, we come before You this morning with grateful hearts, thanking You for watching over us through the night and allowing us to rise with new mercies and fresh grace. Lord, by Your Word you have declared us to be overcomers in this world because greater is he that is in us, than he that is in the world.” Today, help us to live in the confidence of that truth. When fear speaks, remind us that You are greater. When temptation comes, remind us that You are greater. When burdens seem heavy and battles seem fierce, remind us that the One who dwells within us is greater than anything that stands against us. Father, give us ears to hear Your voice above every other voice. Let the Spirit of Truth guide our thoughts, our decisions, and our steps. Keep us from being led by the wisdom of the world, and teach us to trust Your Word even before circumstances confirm what You have promised. Strengthen every weary heart today. Encourage those who feel discouraged. Bring peace to troubled minds. Grant wisdom to those facing difficult decisions. Let Your presence be so real that we walk through this day with confidence, knowing You go before us. Help us, like little children, to trust You completely, surrendering to You what we cannot control and resting in the assurance that our lives are in Your hands. In JESUS name!

Almighty God, we prostrate ourselves at the foot of Your throne this day, that we may receive the word which proceeds out of Your mouth. It is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Through faith, O God, we understand that the worlds were framed by Your word, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Lord when the earth was void and without form, Your word was released into the darkness and there was light. Lord, we pray this day for such a word! Speak a word, Lord, to the situations and circumstances of our lives; release the word that will bring forth new life to our finances, to our marriages; release the word, dear God, that will renew our strength, that we might mount up with wings as eagles; run, and not be weary; walk, and not faint. Lord, our souls did faint at Your salvation, but our hope; our ability to persevere and press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus, rests in Your word. Uphold us according to Your word, that we may live. Perform your good word towards us; tell us what to do, how to do, and when to do; and Lord we will commit ourselves this day TO DO! Almighty God, we look to You, this day, for the strength to endure. Our desire, dear God, is that You would sustain us, and even more, as we may be enduring for a purpose, and it's accomplishment seems beyond our strength. Renew us with courage and an unceasing hope, and strengthen us, O God, by Your spirit, with an enduring faith! Lord, when we grow weary in our well doing, grant us a sense of nearness to You. Help us, O God, to know what is useless, that we may not give to it unnecessary energy, and to know what is worth while; that we may acquire strength through the power of truth, and forever draw upon the endless content which is secured by choosing and continuing in the right way! Lord, from the wealth of each day, renew our hope, and quiet our souls with the peace that surpasses all understanding; that we may continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel nor our pursuit of Righteousness! In JESUS name!

Almighty God, we bless You this day for our lives, and we give You praise for Your abundant mercy and grace towards us. Our prayer is that You would fill our minds, this morning, with loving thoughts; and grant us that we may spend every hour of the day gladly working with You according to Your will. O God, be our Present Help today and show Yourself strong in our behalf. Be with us, dear Lord, in the day's worries and disappointments, that we may be patient with ourselves and with those around us; in our moments of fatigue and illness, that we may be mindful of others rather than we ourselves; in our temptations; that we may be generous and loyal, so that when the day is over we may lay it at Your feet, with its successes which are all Yours, and its failures, which are all our own, and feel that life is real and peaceful and blessed, when it is spent with You Lord, our Strength and our Redeemer. By the might of Your Spirit, keep us, we pray, in Your presence, where we may be still and know that You are God. In JESUS name!

Almighty God, creator of all things. There is much that we take for granted each day, but today Lord; help us to remember that our lives are gifts, that our health is a blessing, that this new day is filled with awesome potential, that we have the capacity to bring something wholly new and unique and good into this world. Just for today, help us, God, to remember to be kind and patient to the people who love us, and to those who work with us. Teach us, dear God, to see all the beauty that we so often ignore, and to listen to the silent longing of our own soul. Just for today, help us, God, to remember our first love, and run to You who we trusted, after that we heard the word of truth, the gospel of Your salvation; and after we believed, were sealed with the holy Spirit of promise. Today, we will remember; today, we will exalt You, O God, and praise You for who You are and what You mean to our existence! In the matchless name of Jesus the Christ, we do pray and declare it all.
