Many of my pieces are made from natural materials including raw brass, copper, rose-gold plated brass and silver brass. When left raw, these metals have the tendency to naturally patina and age over time. We love this about brass, and feel it is part of its character, but if you prefer to keep your piece in its original bright form, store in an airtight container (such as the bag it comes in) or use a gentle brass/ bronze cleanser or polish when needed to bring it back to its shiny state. Steel wool or a polishing cloth also works great! Please try to avoid excessive exposure to water. Any styles made of leather or cotton cord should never be exposed to water.
