This week marks the start of a full hardscape refinement — driveway, courtyard, and casita porch. We are re‑staining the driveway, front courtyard, and the pool casita porch — shifting the palette away from the warm orange undertones you see here and into something more grounded, tonal, and architectural. The casita porch will be scored into 9” planks, creating a wood‑inspired rhythm that brings texture and visual structure to the space before its final stain is applied. It’s one of those subtle details that completely changes how the surface reads.

Grateful to be partnering with Distinctive Concrete whose craftsmanship and precision make projects like this feel effortless. The transformation is already underway, and the after is going to be a completely different story.

🏆 We’re still pinching ourselves... WE WON!

What started as a personal dream project has now been recognized across the entire state.

Our collaboration with Vogel Builders has been honored with the 2026 Texas Association of Builders STAR Award for Best Addition Remodel, and we couldn't be more grateful.

This wasn't simply about adding square footage.

It was about completely reimagining how this home lives.

Another outdoor transformation complete in Austin.

This First Watch patio needed a solution for the Texas sun, heat and wind—without taking away from the open-air dining experience.

We designed and coordinated a custom motorized exterior shade system that integrates cleanly with the existing patio structure and gives the restaurant flexibility to adjust the space as conditions change throughout the day.

The result is a more comfortable, functional outdoor dining area that can be enjoyed through more of the Texas weather.

From restaurants and commercial spaces to residential patios and outdoor living areas, Chic Outdoor Systems by Chic Concepts provides custom shade solutions designed around the space, the environment and how it’s actually used.
