Hey!

I don’t know if it was noticed in my earlier video, but when I started to put the blocks on the design boards, there were some unfinished half and corner blocks in the bin. I jumped right in and finished the last four missing blocks together this week.

I’m still mulling over the sashing choices. And I’m still not sure what color the background blocks will actually be until I start popping the beige, yellow, and blue cardstock I used. I’m not even sure if the whites are all the same! And I haven’t even really take my layout seriously some blocks need to definitely be moved about.

But, HEY, I have all my blocks ready!

“Peace is always beautiful.”

It’s not running away. It’s quiet. Silence. Finding joy in this old project I pulled out. It’s so old that I only found one progress photo from 2014. Button, who is now 15yo said “that’s actually really old mom.”

I remember why I was stuck as I pulled this project out last week. I couldn’t decide if I should hand stitch sashing after doing all the EPP blocks. Still deciding.

Maybe you could help me out?

I’m thinking quickly piecing by machine background sashing or hand piecing sashing for continuity. Or maybe it doesn’t need any sashing?
