I finally tried it and… WOW. Actual RED. ❤️

If you bake, you understand why this deserves an announcement. If you don’t, please just be excited with me because eight years is a long time to argue with food coloring. 🤣

Still learning things in this little kitchen, and still getting ridiculously excited when something finally works. 🫶🏻

I had a little fun in the kitchen, and now we have this very handsome group of fellas. Every one has a slightly different expression, which feels appropriate. Some of us are handling the week better than others. 🤣

The sweatshirt says MAMA, but this morning I’m answering to “the lady who makes the treats.” 😂💕

I’m back in the Covéll kitchen whipping up some delicious things, and banana pudding and Biscoff cheesecake cups have already been restocked!

There’s something satisfying about getting everything made and seeing those shelves fill back up. Of course, the goal is for y’all to come undo all that work… so we have an interesting arrangement here. 🤣

If you need a little something to look forward to after lunch, dessert tucked away in the work fridge does help. Just put your name on it. I can’t be responsible for your coworkers. 🫶🏻

And somehow, after all that, everybody at my house still wants supper. Every. Single. Night. 😂

I can plan drink flavors, fill a bakery case, and put together a flower arrangement… but “what are we having for supper?” will have me staring into the refrigerator like the answer is going to introduce itself.

Behind Covéll is also a mom trying to feed her family, spend time with her babies, and hopefully sit down before bedtime. Preferably without using every pan we own. 🙃💕

So I’m coming to you for supper inspiration. What’s a meal you actually make on a busy weeknight? Crock pot meals and quick dinners are especially welcome. Nothing that calls itself “easy” and then asks me to chop things for 45 minutes. 🤣

Monday prep is done, and I’m officially switching from “just one more thing” at the shop to “just one more snuggle” at home. 💕

I’m heading home to soak in a little more family time before we open those doors and I get to see your smiling faces tomorrow.

I’m out making our Mondays Made Better💕 deliveries this morning! Yesterday evening’s prep is now this morning’s precious cargo, and I take getting your coffee to school very seriously.

There’s something pretty special about walking through those doors carrying a little bright spot for the people who do so much for our kids.

To the teachers and staff starting another week: I hope your drink is delicious, your morning goes smoothly, and you get to enjoy a few sips before someone needs you. 🫶🏻

Sometimes I get so caught up in the business of running a flower shop that’s also a coffee shop that’s also a bakery that’s also a gift shop that I forget I actually get to own a shop. 🥹💕

There are bills to pay, orders to fill, emails to answer, and about 47 things on my to-do list that I probably should’ve finished yesterday.

And then I get to stand here, put some beautiful flowers together, and remember why I fell in love with all of this in the first place.

I don’t think people realize how much of my heart goes into this little shop. It’s not always easy, and some days it’s really, really hard.

But getting to create something beautiful that will eventually become part of someone else’s story? A birthday, an anniversary, a celebration, or even a really difficult goodbye?

That’s pretty special.

And I hope I never get so busy trying to keep Covéll going that I forget to appreciate the fact that I get to do this at all. 💐

I’m spending this evening making all of your Mondays Made Better💕 orders, and I love thinking about where they’re headed. Classrooms, front offices, and the people who will spend tomorrow answering their name approximately 437 times before lunch.

I can’t help with the copier being jammed or the reply-all emails… but I can handle the coffee. 🤣

This little boy has the right idea, and I’m about to follow his lead. 😂💕

After a busy but AMAZING week, I’m ready to curl up with a cup of something yummy, watch a movie with my babies, and maybe sneak in a little nap.

And by “watch a movie,” I mean ask everyone what happened because I fell asleep 12 minutes in. 🤣

Thank you for being part of our week at Covéll. Now I’m clocking in for snuggles. 🥹💕
