Using Excel as a Practical Tool for Grant Budget Development is tomorrow!

This is not an Excel 101 webinar. It is an applied workshop built around the spreadsheets grant professionals use when developing and managing budgets.

Participants will work through a connected example that includes program and organizational budgets, a proposed grant request, budget-versus-actual monitoring, a federal budget, modified total direct costs, indirect costs, and a five-year projection.

Just as important, participants will leave with resources designed for continued use after the session:
• A participant workbook for completing the exercises alongside the trainer
• A fully completed reference workbook
• A budget error challenge and answer key
• A formula and shortcut guide
• A grant budget review checklist

For 15 years, Michelle has been a steady and valued part of AGS. Her work supports critical pieces of how we operate every day, from entering leads into Salesforce to helping launch grant projects in Asana and gathering initial project questions that help our team get started well.

Michelle’s consistency, care, and commitment have helped strengthen both our internal systems and the service we provide to clients. Administrative and operational support roles are essential to a strong organization, and Michelle has contributed to that strength for many years.
