Here is a throw back to some potty learning pants. These were a special request for a mama out in CA. Very cool concept that was new to me and perfect for wool!

Did you know wool is naturally antimicrobial and it also breaks down urine into water and mineral salts when properly lanolized? All you have to do is rinse in-between wears and layout to dry. Wash every one to 2 weeks or if it smells after completely drying. Perfect for potty training pants!

Some alterations (Hygge leggings and shrug) and brown acid dye of a "Cream Cups" cropped cardigan.

For the leggings I reduced rise 2", shortened the waistband height 1.5", took 3 inches off the length, brought in the leg seam and tapered from the knee down to get a nice hug on the leg.

The shrug I removed 3" from the back seam, this also includes removing the banding and trimming then serging the back seam, serging to reattach the band on top and botom and coverstitching the band seam.

For the dye I prep the fabric and soak overnight before starting the actual dye process which is hands on stirring to get an even color dye job on wool.

For this work it was about 9/10 hours

These lovelies are heading back to a very lucky wool lover in NY.
