We are looking for a dependable, service-oriented, adaptable person to join our team. As a clerk, your main roles will be checking customers out, assisting vendors and customers, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store.
Daily Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with a positive attitude
Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently with cash, check, or card payments
Wrap and bag items for safe transport
Maintain a neat work environment by performing daily housekeeping tasks
Communicate with vendors
Skills and Experience:
Prior customer service/retail experience (preferred)
Computer and typing proficiency and ability to learn new programs
Ability to work as a team or individually
Clear communication in person, online, or over the phone
Ability to sit, stand, and lift items up to 20lbs, occasionally items up to 50lb with assistance
Schedule:
Part-time: 3 or 4 days per week
Open 7 days a week
7 hour shifts
Weekend availability required
