This is my new kit, a 1993 Tama Artstar Custom. It’s a 22, 10, 12, 14, 16 configuration. It sounds punchy and very clean, and the kick is a monster for being just a 22”. I’ve wanted an Artstar kit since I first saw play one on tour in the mid 90s with White Zombie. Tama needs to recognize the fact that these are the best kits they ever made and dust off the molds for the one-piece lugs again!
