Our last txt messages, he loved getting pics of the grand babies and he loved me.......this was before our last conversation on the phone at 3:13 of I love yous and goodbyes and see u in a bit and at 3:30 u were gone......how quickly things can change in an instant, pay attention to ur loved ones cause even over the phone I could tell something wasn't right and I asked him was he ok or was something wrong and all he said was "I just feel rough, but I'll never ok"

Steve Shannon, You send little reminders daily of your love for me still, the sunset was absolutely beautiful this evening, made me think of you!!! Your urn looks amazing too and absolutely perfect!!! I miss you so much and some days are so much harder than others but our love will be forever, till we meet again my love, I will keep you memory alive!!

The CDC class at SHHS Candace's class made us a meal for tonight, this is the first real meal I feel like I have eaten since the Monday night before Steve Shannonpassed on Tuesday; I'm extremely grateful for her teacher Ms Angie that did this for us.......I absolutely love her and the others too they are not just teachers of my awesome girl they are family

It's only been 2 weeks since i lost you, it feels just like yesterday we were sitting around and me giggling about something u said or u tickling me; I'd give anything to have u bck; I'm not as strong as everyone thinks I am or definitely not as strong as u were! I'm going to keep trying and I'm extremely grateful for all the ones who check on me it means a lot to me it really does, I love you all and especially my kids they are amazing and the strongest ones I know!!!!

I haven't posted these yet but here we go, to the guys Steve Shannon saw every day for 20 years at B&B sawmill, I thank you for your support that all have shown us during this time, he grew up around a sawmill so when he went to work their it felt like home to him, this truck was a passion of his to have and meant a lot to him but nothing meant more to him than his family, his circle he called it and if u were lucky enough to be in that circle u we're blessed cause he cared if u we're good; I loved this man for 30 years and I can say he loved big and would help anyone in need freely and never expect nothing in return! So, when you speak of Steve, speak with respect cause he earned it!!!

I Aaron the northern lights while outside in Sardis but I wasn't sure what I was actually seeing and it was such a beautiful glow of pinks in the sky but all I could think of was thank you Steve Shannon I love you too and thank you for the beautiful painting in the sky tonight, your the most precious star in the sky as always my love!!!
