Hey guys! We’ve got some updates to cover.
This post does not come easy.
For starters, we apologize for not being very active on social media as of late. There have been *a lot* of personal things happening outside the store, including some ongoing medical issues and a huge personal move. Because of these, the store has shifted to a scheduled appointment based system and open as permitted.
We have run into several issues and snags since opening 4 years ago. A lot of which have to do with unfair rumors spread by others that have never actually stopped to look around or talk to us. Just earlier we had a visit from local PD because someone reported us for selling “illegal consumables” (watching language to avoid a fb flag). We, of course, do not sell or participate in anything illegal. Pairing the local issues with ongoing economical problems, this is currently not a good environment for small businesses. We have always strived to provide budget friendly merchandise options and try to compete with the big stores. That is just becoming harder to do as everything is increasing in prices. The general population can barely afford to pay rent and feed themselves, let alone go to parties and events and buy fun things. We understand, we’re in the same situation.
Our lease is set to expire at the end of July, and as of now we do not have intentions to renew it. That is not saying that we are permanently closing! We will be transitioning to doing more pop ups and hopefully moving up to conventions and other big events! It will take some time to recalibrate so this will not be an immediate transition. We will also be utilizing more online resources for listing inventory.
With all that being said, through the end of this month we will be having storewide sales to drastically cut back on inventory and hopefully soon start anew.
To the people who have been with us since the beginning, to our loyal customers, and to the regulars who stop by to chat; we love and appreciate y’all so much!
