Howard Curry Shoes was originally founded in 1948 in downtown Lexington. In 1958 we moved to our 380 Southland Drive location where the Talking Tree and Enchanted Forest was first created. In 2009 we moved to Nicholasville Road and Moore Drive in Lexington. In addition to women's and men's shoes, we specialize in children's shoes sizes from infant zero (0) to youth size seven (7), and offer custom fitting on children's shoes for those that might need multiple widths.

A MEDAL FOR EVERY FAST KID!

Every participating child in Saturday's Fastest Kid in Town Races will receive a participation medal compliments of Team RaceRise.

We love to see kiddos run and this is a great way to get you child inspired to run. Kiddos race within their individual age (i.e. All 4-year-olds run against each other, etc...). While it is competitive as there is an ultimate "Fastest Kid in Town", the cheering crowd for every heat/race makes for an encouraging atmosphere for all levels of runners.

Big thanks to the YMCA of Central Kentucky for their sponsorship of the FKIT Races.
