Hi friends! Introducing The Fountain, by Lisa Loffredo! First published in France in 2025 it was recently published in the US and it is an absolute delight. This is my favorite kind of picture book, one that invites snuggles and slow reading, finding new things to ooh and ahh over each time. The creatures and the town in the story are pure imagination, so it’s lovely to look at over and over. My daughters saw so many fun and silly things that I missed as we read it (this, is the magic of picture books), and they immediately requested another read and then tried to make off with it to their beds which in my family means it’s 10/10. Also, the end papers are absolutely fab.

Hi, friends! What a beautiful season of story times we’ve had at Wildlings Bookshop! We’ve had lovely local authors, teachers, parents, a campaign kick off, music, DJ’s and everything in between. And now our Saturday morning story times are taking a little summer siesta. ❤️

Our community Story time will be back in August, and stay tuned for special events in the meantime! We still have some spots left for our Summer Story Forage as well, stop by and see us to bring a little magic and adventure to your summer 🍄

Incredible DJ party story time with this morning!!!! I know a few kids who are going to be requesting some new equipment for their next birthdays 👀 thank you so much to Katherine, and to all the kids and parents who joined us this morning!!!

This was our last story time of the season! Starting next week Saturday story time will be on summer break through mid-August. Stay tuned though for updates and maybe a special event or two over the summer!

Hi friends! We had SUCH a nice time with Miriam Lightfoot on Saturday! Miriam read from her new chapter book, the Unusual Crime Solvers: the Paris Puzzle, and brought coloring sheets from the illustrations in the book! What a delight!
